Fatal1ty by GoTall

Since various parts of this project were very kindly sponsored by various companies, I wanted to give them some recognition by including their logos on this side of the case. I would like to thank the Academy, my parents, my agent... no wait, I mean Antec, Abit USA and Gtek.se.



Once again, I masked the panel completely. I planned to make a border to logos: Antec at the top, Abit / Fatal1ty at the bottom, and Gtek on the sides. Here you can see the first two sets of logos, hand-drawn onto the masking. The smaller Gtek logos will follow later.



Here is the Antec logos at the top completed. It is a bit hard to see from the photo, but it reads "Antec performance Antec"...



...and here is the bottom done: the Abit logo flanked on either side by the Fatal1ty "F" logo.



The GTek logo border is much smaller - three logos up the left vertical edge - so I simply printed out the logos, taped them in place and engraved through the paper. This makes getting an accurate result much easier when dealing with very small detail.



To break up this vast, blank panel, I decided to repeat the same Celtic pattern from the other side in a cross shape. Some people think this is too much, but I'm happy with the result



The next part takes time: filling in the design. It is possible to work quickly, but the best result will be achieved if you work patiently.



With all four engravings complete, it is time once again to colour in with the marker pen and rub off the extra ink. I think it works well.
